EB3 (I) have been hit hard there should be some effort to get the ball rolling, and I fail to understand why EB2 (I) should get offensive about this effort. EB2 is going to get what they get anyway, but EB3 guys might get somewhere if this kind of concentrated effort is made.
I beleive EB2 will not be affected by this effort, if we draw enough attention we all EBs will get our GC sooner than later.

Pappu no need to ask People to do something. We all, includiing me want others to do the work and we just want to make annonymous remarks blaming IV. We must admit that we really like doing this. :) The original poster Endlesswait came to the site and blamed IV for not doing anything and went away without doing anything. This dude AlbertPinto is just saying many times that IV is not doing anything but is not doing anything himself. You have asked him to do somehing, let us see if he really does something.
Like others, I will also not do anything and will be here to give my 2 cents. This is the easiest task we can all do. Isn't it?

How bad it can be for those with approved I-140?
Earlier it was 140K times 7% = 9800 with everybody and now it is 90K times 10% = 9000 with most of them gone into new merit based system.
I still don't get it?
Good Point! this is actually more visas for same number of folks. Approved or soon-to-be-approved I-140 folks (like me) will get GC on time or faster and others with Maters degree will get GC in 1 or 2 years, and rest must have got admission to MS by now. and there will be some loophole to bank on which will be realized by our stupid Joe after a few years.

Thanks for the reply , let me file the H1 transfer with Employer2 now in "Premium route" with the I-140 approval from Employer1 and see if we get a approval. Once i get a approval , i think stamping it wont be an issue after 7-8 months even thought Employer1 has revoked that I-140 ?
However i want to clear even if the Employer1 revokes this I-140 my PD still remains locked - right ???
>> if my I-140 gets revoked can i switch to another employer and extend my H1B by 3 more years ??
No, I-140 must be active in order to extend H1-B beyond 6 years.

1) should I invoke Ac 21 ??-- I am worried that the EVL may not meet USCIS needs as it may not be fully detailed
2) The other option I have is to take a leave of absence from my present company for one year and start working for the new company? IN this case what happens if I get RFE for EVL ? Which company should I say I am working for present or the future ? Also If I do take a leave of absence should I send in AC 21 paperwork or no?
PLEASE HELP I am very confused--- I strongly feel that the leave of absence might be an insurance policy but I don't know how to approach it !!

Same case was with me. They picked on my 3 year bachelor degree. Can i do appeal after 2 years ?
Not appeal but rather re-filing as a fresh 140. The labor doesn't expire as long as you had filed an i-140 in the past when the labor was valid.

IMO, we all are in the same path, some ahead of others, but basically belong to the same larger SET. Some of us have faced the problems that students are facing now, and in all likelihood these students will face the same problems that we are facing now. More personally though, I always think, if only I knew more about the GC process back when I was in school( 12 years ago), I'd have been much better now.
If we start digging a well every time we are thirsty it takes forever to get anything done. To give a 4 letter word why students must participate-(not what you think, dirty minds:)) STEM
