I just noticed that my donor forum access is revoked. I have a paypal monthly subscription setup since Jan 2007 and I see the latest payment last week only. Could you please check and let me know if I need to do something for getting my access back?

Before you accuse me of coming up with an arbitrary date, I suggest you do some homework yourself and go read the draft. I have posted the content of the bill where it explicitely specifies the cut off date (date of the introduction of the bill). If you don't want to do any reading and just pass comments then go ahead and do that but that won't change what's in the bill.
Having said that and as some lawyers have pointed out, this is a bill in progress which is changing by the minute in the Senate. If there is an amendment to change the cut off date and if it passes then of course we don't have to worry about it but I haven't seen any amendment to that affect, have you? By the time it reaches president's desk, if it does, the bill may look very different but as it stands now that's the cut off date .. like it or not.
By the way, it is not up to the USCIS to decide what to enforce and what not to enforce. If it's in the law, they have to enforce it. Executive branch doesn't make law; it simply enforces law that are made by legislative branch.

Can’t agree any more. What else we can say. Though it is bitter pill to swallow, that is the reality and 'reality bites'. Rather than adding fuel in to the frustration, I would like to say, let us fight together and 'try' to get out of this mess sooner or later. I used the word ‘try’ because frankly speaking we can only try, nothing is assured.
a lot of people, with masters +3 yrs or BS+5 yrs, were not aware of eb2/3 category. after all this backlog thing happening, now their eyes have opened.
when u ask them, why u dint pursue for eb2 at the time of filing, oh we dint know about it, some say, we were not interested bcoz the startup was paying more, and a few said, they were forced by the employer.
but at the end, but they are themselves to blame for their plight.
and if you look at the last 4-5 years of data, eb3 were issued more more visas then eb2.
so its the time for us to stay united and fight for a cause.
ofourse in reality, once people get their GCs, they will forget about other's as then they have rest of the things in their life to take care of. so you need to pull more guys who are coming into the system rather then to expect approved guys to fight for your cause.
Although these guys can contribute financial help to the cause.
And yes, I am still waiting for my GC. eb2 01/06 PD.

Can we try for moderate provisions this time? I am inclined to think after reading so much in to these things, that trying to put some permanet relief to retrogression and thus trying to add to existing quota may attract wide discussion and may not get agreed to? A moderate measure like recapture of VISA may be a good idea for now.

and they (Fragomen) confirmed May 21st 2007 is not going to be the cutoff date, just because a bill is introduced on that day. Effective date will be decided later by USCIS at a later date due to implementation issues even after the president signs this bill into law.

the email in the resource sections needs a Reform however. It talks
about CIR and nothing about SKIL bill. Can we remove CIR now :)

I am guessing here but our target is "employment based GC seekers for more contribution towards IV". It is very specific. A newspaper is too general of a medium for such a specific target.
Where can we find them? on a immigration lawyer's website? maybe

We do not have any complaint, regarding the amnesty given in 2000. Only problem for us is, those visa numbers are being pulled from regular 140,000 quota ( Which is unchanged from 1990). So , there should be some adjustment due to this amnesty which is affecting our lives in year 2008 (Because there was no provision for increase in visa numbers when amnesty was passed). So now, there is still a chance, if we can bring this to the notice of Lawmakers, that visas numbers should be added to incorporate the amnesty effect. We will make it very clear that, we are not against the amnesty which was passed earlier.

looks like CPO before 8 or 10th october are in limbo. people who got CPO after 10 are getting card . in my case CPO was on oct 06 and soft LUD on 12 but nothing since. Today I had the infopass and lady over there said she will mail the office for reprint she suspect it lost in the print que. she refuse to give certified letter with EAD detail reason being "washington has asked not to issue any letters for EAD . people should not be using letter for EAD" Her words. (they issued the letter to my wife on sep 30 2010.) any way.

Transit visa is not required via frankfurt Germany while traveling on AP.
I personally visited German Consulate at BOSTON. They said Transit visa is not required.
Germans are good. He even said do not spend $90 on visa. and said to enjoy that money.
And Even Lufthansa airlines is very good. They also treat good.
I travelled on december 2009. At frankfurt the officer asked me how I am travelling?
I just said Advance Parole. That's all.
Just enjoy the journey.
