I know a friend and old colleague of Mine who was deported back to India at POE 2 week ago. I am yet to find the exact details, but apparently, he did volunteer some information to IO which he should not have.

I called FTD to make them aware of the large number of orders that have been placed for Emilio Gonzalez for July 10th. I have requested that a representative from FTD handle all these orders to make sure they are delivered. This is because a lot of people have used varying post codes, phone numbers etc. They are getting back to me with a point of contact from the Special Accounts department who will handle all our orders to make sure they are delivered. Will keep you all posted.

I e-filed AP for my wife and son on May 5th (NSC). Still waiting.
Sametime my EAD and AP went to TSC and approved on May 25th.

Bold no. But When I cam here in 1998 I weighted 118lbs now I weight 253lbs!!! Mostly Beer of course. Saving? 65K in Credit Card Debt. PM me if you want to see me before/after picture! :)

A good idea would be to put a colored one on the wall and put a bunch of black & white ones that people can take with them. Hopefully, they will look at the one they took along and finally visit the website.

Guys, I have known atleast 10 of my friends who had travelled to India and returned in the past week through different POEs EWR, JFK, IAD, PHL and no one had any issues of any sort. Yes, they are on different statuses....EAD, H1B; some in their first year some with 8+ yrs extension waiting for GC.
I am sharing this information to let people known who are planning for a vacation or for someone presently outside the country, reading this post and worrying about reentry.I am not saying that you may not have issues...yes if the documents are not valid then US immigration officers have every right to send you back.
I was myself a victim of these kind of rumours back in May'09. If we go back you can find lot of threads discussing the same issue during the Mar-May'09 timeframe and I was foolish enough to get pulled into these and spent time worrying about these prior to the vacation, during the vacation and on my flight back as well. At POE(EWR) no question was asked and was done with the stampting in less than 2 mins. Did I mention that I went for VISA renewal as well during my trip and oh..I forgot I didn't even have EAD/AP as back up to re-enter.
Been there, gone through that, and is certainly not worth. If you have proper documents , ignore the rumours..GO AND ENJOY YOUR VACATION......

IV has no control over what happens to the provisions or the bills or how the schedule works. All IV will keep on doing is trying to get our provisions in any bill or vehicle that is appropriate and likely to pass.
As far as your guess is concerned, being an IV member, any update we post will have to be EB related. We are not going to post updates for members informing them about things not concerning EB issues. I just wish there was any way to make members realize how difficult it is to get any issue even included in the current enforcement first atmosphere.

My PD with my previous employer is JUne 2006 and I-140 was approved in August 2006. Since then I have changed the employer and the new employer is in the process of filing PERM again. Would this cut-off date of May 21st 2007 would effect my case. My current employer would be filing a new I-140 at a future date which I don't know at this time.
