Can you please email to info at immigrationvoice.org with your latest subscription details. As per our records we only see payment made last year. If verified, access is granted on a monthly basis based on monthly subscription.

It gets hard to intoduce bills just alone for EB based GC.It would be impossible to get somthing specifically for EB3 India or china. I know the frustation but we have to be pragmatic too.
but all I want to do is get some ideas. Thinking within the box has not helped, maybe outside the box may. Sorry if I have caused any trouble.

I called FTD to make them aware of the large number of orders that have been placed for Emilio Gonzalez for July 10th. I have requested that a representative from FTD handle all these orders to make sure they are delivered. This is because a lot of people have used varying post codes, phone numbers etc. They are getting back to me with a point of contact from the Special Accounts department who will handle all our orders to make sure they are delivered. Will keep you all posted.

Applied on 25 Aug, Sept 27 Approval Email and 1 Oct Physical Approval.
WE had a Issue in AP, As we were applying online, we ( me and my wife) dont have a middle initial and the applicaiton was not getting submitted without it.
So had to call in to raise a ticket and then send in a Explanation
Had Seen Couple of LUD's so think it was due to the ticket and out explanation snail mail.

I respectfully decline to believe any stories posted in here. Many and I mean many folks from my company have gone to India and come back with no hassled. In the last 6 months I have been outside the country thrice ( not to India ) and have not spent more than 1 min or answered more than 2 questions at the POE.

this is brilliantly cunning!!american jobs presumably can get h1b'ed if it helps keep mexicans out - else let the mexicans in& keep the indians out!one of the ugliest pieces of legislation in recent memory - wayy worse than the border fence bill that would have jailed anyone giving aid to sick immigrants. & guys, tcs/infosys all applied for h1b by applying for LCAs first, which is essentially a DoL certification saying qualified americans aren't available -why this double whammy of extra fees?? bcos more than 50% is - god forbid- indians on h1bs!!!!this is a xenophobia masquerading as concerns for non-existent american jobs - oh but it does help build a fence to keep gardeners out!wtg congress

We dont know USCIS will accept 485 appls between July 2nd filer and july 16th filer.
As per notice on 17th July - They will start from this date to accept application....BUT NOT CLEAR !!! - maybe we are getting this some info related between July 2nd and July 16th filer

Dear Friend Blacktongue!
I have read many of your earlier posts. Presumably you are a EB1. That is good. Unfortunately you seem to create some confusion in the minds of many suffering due to the backlog and also seem to derive pleasure by commenting about non EB1 folks! That is your choice, though it is sad. I also remember to have read a note, that you are from China. Not really sure what your intentions are. From our side, we have our own issues and are exploring various avenues to draw the attention of law makers, voice our concerns and address our grievances. I am not interested in vitriolic exchanges or debates here. Many of us have crossed the 10 year mark and have serious issues on different fronts.
If IV or any organized forum come up with a plan, many Indians falling under the EB2/EB3 categories, including myself will support. Incidentally, Satyagraha is a peace method advocated by Mahatma Gandhi, a great leader of our country.
Note: I am sorry to say that going forward I will not respond to any futher comments on this from your end.

I agree with, all what we want is to get our issue solved thru the normal avenues.

IV has no control over what happens to the provisions or the bills or how the schedule works. All IV will keep on doing is trying to get our provisions in any bill or vehicle that is appropriate and likely to pass.
As far as your guess is concerned, being an IV member, any update we post will have to be EB related. We are not going to post updates for members informing them about things not concerning EB issues. I just wish there was any way to make members realize how difficult it is to get any issue even included in the current enforcement first atmosphere.

I just have a saving account in India and I used to transfer more than 10 k while I purchase anything back at home. My quest is my money was never there sitting in bank more than a month, do I need to disclose this to IRS?

Yes, as long as sum of all foreign accounts >= US $10,000 at any time. In this case, since one account value exceeds US$ 10,000 value, it does meet the reporting criteria.

My point is more around jobs in business/finance/strategy/marketing etc. where Indians from highly reputed b-schools in the US also end up hitting the glass ceiling.
I did read the post. If you are talking about the marketing dept of an engineering or programming firm, my point applies directly. But even otherwise, Indians have not been identified as a minority in ANY profession in the US. Therefore, diversity does not apply legally for them in ANY field in the US.

I applied for my AP on Oct 20, 2009. Booked my tickets to India for Dec 13th. Received my AP only in Dec 31st. Cancelled my Tickets and lost 700 $ on tickets. Thanks to USCIS.
