I request you to please include children of legal immigrants in this bill. While their parents have done everything legally and are waiting for PR (which you may know is taking close to 10 years for some countries) for the family these poor children get aged out and have to get some status on their own to be legal in US or leave the country. I hope you would agree with me and include some provision in your bill to include these kids for their and USA's better future.

I think there is not much harm here because the new law says any unused numbers in the previous year will be added to the 290,000 quota next year. So, even we don't get the numbers this year due to the per country limit, next year the size of the cake will be a lot larger.

You are right!, its easy to say NO to one company/delivery but hard to tackle so many different deliveries (specially if they receive some NON-IV flowers when and then for specific reasons).

YMy understanding is if anyone has EAD and working or looking for work by using EAD will not accure unlawful status. All others (particularly H4 dependendts without EAD) may be accuring unlawful status.

hmm. Per my lawyer, he told me that only TR cases can be converted to RIR, are the ones whose companies have been advertising for the last 3 months for the job oppourtunity. So not sure where you got the 10 day period. I remember reading that in the DOL instructions as well.

Point taken!!, however its just politics in play and the googly that Dems bowled to Repubs did not work, there is no partisan politics that IV can lobby with, no politician is going to risk talking abt this bill when it will be seen that it will help American citizens get more jobs when in theory its not the case.....

If I remember correctly, It was announced ahead of time that PERM would go into effect (I think it was March 29 2005) and all old style labor filings would stop from that date. But, in this case, they are using a date that has already passed, without giving the people who are in queue for 4-5 years due to the BEC /labor dept ineffiencies, as a cut off date. Now, those of us who have invested 5 years of time hoping to see the GC someday soon, have to wait until Oct 2008 . It gets complicated because of H1B extension issues that wont be available unless you are on the train that left on May 21st.
So if I understadn you correctly, you are saying
1. People who are in 4-5th year will get stuck 1 yr or more becuase of the implementation of this system. But you can't you extend your H1 ???

After 48 hours, doctor will do physical and x-ray , if necessary( 5 min) and in the next 30 min, one sealed cover is ready for your attorney (handed over to you) and one open copy of all documents in the cover.
Ask, me I am an expert in this area and I have a good doctor in the INS list from DEnver area. Let me know. OF course, it is a free service and I don't get anything, except knowing one more friend in Denver. Take it right away.

I don't see any provision or relief for EB3 .. guess we gonna left out in cold just like that.
I have seen many asking IV or Pappu to clarify on this , and none has replied on this one, so I believe eb3 gonna be left out in the whole process..
