Please provide the email address/new thread where we can write the articles. Perhaps the admins can review all the articles submitted, and then choose some of the articles which they think are worthy, and other users can then try to post their comments. Last, the admins can edit the article based on those suggestions.

I am talking about a person (like 485mbe - the one who has posted next to yr post) who has a PD of 2001 ..I am not saying that they should give Eb2's quota to EB3 ..but they should try to pull the category that is worst affected..or atleast give EB3 something ..
my question to you is ..say in the year 2010, would u support a situation where all categories are current or at 1 year difference ...while a particular category (eb3 I in this case) is at 2001 ??.. even if you do ..my feeling is that USCIS will try to pull EB3 - I (if something like above happens)..but then they are just a govt agency ..and in the end they are similar to govt agency in India ..only difference is that maybe little better

This is called waste of brain power ... cramming as much as you can from the dictionary and god knows what. It would have been much better if a child learns some skill or diverts the mind towards exploring a problem or invention . What use is cramming the dictionary when it is available right on your phone now . If you have the internet all the world's knowledge is searchable.

Comparing with Gandhi ji's struggle makes no sense. When discriminated, he refused to cooperate. Refused to buy "monopolistic" foreign clothes, salt.
H1-B is noway similar to that. H1B can choose not to put up with discriminating employers, rules etc and chose not to work in an economy which is exploitative.
Once H1B stop putting up these rules, employers with think we need to do something to attract foreign talent. Till then why bother to lobby for change in EB rules.
Note: I approve of free trade but in those days it was all one-sided monopolistic trade where Indian consumers had no choice but were forced to buy British goods.

May be this is not a prediction thread. But the OP and some others are all about VB in another thread or two. While I personally dont have any issue with it, it just frustates me that people dont understand that VB is not going to do any magic for PD's in 2003 or later. C mon Lets be realistic. After doing all the math in so many threads, Does any one expect that the PD will be some where in the ending of 2003. Hell no. Then why is that we have a Dec Bulletin thread way back? Now some one is gonna come start a Jan prediction thread. Useless. This was a really shocking experience. Are employment based GC's AP supposed to be treated like humanitarian AP? or was the CBP officer over reacting? Gurus please throw some light.

Absolutely true, It is torturing the kids for the aspirations of the parents to be seen in the national TV and for award.
It is not the poor kids are not getting the award, it is the parent, especially it is the trend with indians.
why ? ask your kids to do same and see what you feel on that night. can your kids do same ? forget about torturing or anything for a moment. Didn't you see Nupur Lala a past winner where she is now ? if she was torture for that competition she would n't be in MIT. its a competition of brain power to me.

This whole discussion is really silly... I'm glad IV leadership is not self centered, atleast from what i see they think about the community on the whole.
Lets put all these fruitless arguments to rest... the ROW vs India/China, Nurses vs Others, EB1 vs EB2 vs EB3!
I'm EB3 India and I have no one to blame but me for being in EB3 (I'm certainly qualified to be in EB2 but I chose to stick around with the same company for the very reason we all are here on this forum... i.e GC)
For those who think its unfair... rather then sulking about it... do something and move to EB2 if you cant wait any longer... or at least support IV in their efforts.

Dont go for gun even after you get green card. You can think about it after your citizenship. Green is just another type of visa which can be taken away. You right are fully protected only after you become a citizen. Even there also there is a catch in case of Naturalised of teh govt wants to go after you you cant dig you history and find a violation and base don that void te GC you got and teh citizenship.
