My in-laws came in Apr'08 to US and left in Oct-08 for India. They then came back again in Dec'08 due to some issues and they had no problems - they again stayed nearly for months.

I was tensed because I didn't know the right answer.
With all the H1 issues going on nowadays because of location, I wanted to confirm.
Say when I file my H1 extension, then the employer address is the going to be the new one, in the LCA.
So was concerned if it will raise any red flags.
What do you all think?

To be clear When you say "packets" should i put them within two envelopes?
I was planning on just putting the documents(application and supporting docs) bound by paper clips.

Yes. One envelop for AP and the other one for EAD. Put both envelops in Fedex envelop.

If you are eligible for EB1, file I-140 now. EB1 is always current in every VB. No need to port EB3 PD. For EB1, no need for Labor process; direct I-140 filing.

I am currently working on EAD, having invoked AC21 once in the past. My labor was filed in 2005 under EB3 (I was eligible for EB2, but my company filed it under EB3, as per their policy). I filed 485 during July 2007 fiasco and am currently working on EAD.
My job qualifies for EB1 now and few of my peers have got Green Card under EB1. Can I port my filing from EB3 to EB1? Would it be better to do it with current employer or with a new employer? Pl. advice.

My current company's CEO is retiring and the other partners are forming a new company. The current company will continue as a corporation and in the new corporation the current CEO will have 10% share. The new co will start with the current client base, employees, equipment, web site and use the current company's name as a DBA.
I am on H1-B visa with the current company and in the process for Permanent Residency with my I-140 approved and awaiting for the Priority Date to become current .
If the current company terminated me and i got re-hired with the new co.. what would i need to do for my H1-B visa and the Green card process. Please advice ASAP.

Recently, one of my co-worker who was on L1A, requested an extension of his Visa. His employer filed for an L1B instead and did not inform him until after filing it. Now USCIS has sent an RFE. Does anyone know if this can be grounds for rejection of his Visa? Is the employer legally correct in filing a changed Visa category at will without informing the holder? His wife is unable to obtain a driver's license since the Visa approval is pending. Does anyone know if this can be addressed? If so, how?

Mine got approved in about 2 months time. My labor certificate reached the lawyer who passed it on to my employer.
I did a big mistake of not asking for a copy and again when I received it while filing I140 - did not make a copy again.
Please save a copy for yourself - it helps a lot while switching jobs during AC21.

The reflection in the wet sand is good & colors are nice, but I agree with Don that there is too much sky for the scale of the figure. I had to look for the silhouette, because the clouds drew my eye to the left of center. A little saturation work would probably make the colors even more appealing. Wanted to know if there is any limitation on H4B visa date for coming in to US. My wife's H4B visa ends on Sep28 2009, she will travel and will be back on 28th Aug 2009. Is there any problem since its only 1 month from expiry.
In the meantime I will apply for an H1b extension.

I also have the same status. I think it has to do with finger printing when had filed for 485 during July 2007. My status is like that since Dec 2007 .Nothing has changed after that for me..
