After incorporating the company in one of the states. What are the next important things one as a owner of the company needs to take care of especially if it is in IT product development area ( ofcourse including consulting but not purely comparable to predominent desi consultancy services)
Specifically in the following category:
1. If you are selling IT software products and services, what are the legal necessary formalities one needs to take care of?
2. How about expanding the branches in outside USA? May be a branch office in India to leverage huge technical resources? Any legal or other things to be taken care of ?
3. Bank Accounts next steps
4. Credits Credit Cards. What are the precautions one needs to take care of?
Any other thoughts....

I have lived in Nevada before. I think in that state and many other western states (where guns laws are more liberal) you have to have passport, I-94 and utility bills proving you have lived in NV for 6 months. That's it. You don't need hunting license to get a gun license.
Here is the biggest irony:
IN order to own a gun, FBI needs only 2 days to check your background.
IN order to get 485 approved, FBI takes months or years to do a background check.
I guess green-card is a more lethal weapon than a handgun.

I heard from some of my friends that places like Detroit downtown,Arkansas,St.Louis,Tennessee, Louisiana are deadly dangerous.How far this is true?
my friend, pretty much every place in US in unsafe.

I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to this new effort taken up by a group of people badly hit by the immigration delays or we can say immigration black out in U.S..

1) Find solution to employment based greed card retrogression
2) Labor delay in the backlog centers.
All the members of this non-profit organization are facing severe problems due to these issues. We have started the awareness drive and professional strategic help (lobbying) efforts have started for the new Comprehensive immigration reform bill due on the floor of the Senate and House in Spring of-06. To make a difference and to have the new law passed in the way the current visa retrogression & Backlog center delays cane be addresssed with the new bill, I would request you to please spread this message or forward the email to as many people as possible.

This flyer is to create awareness for this effort and add to the ongoing membership drive for http://www.immigrationvoice.org to find solution to Green Card Retrogression problem as well as the backlog centers. Agreed it's frustrating to go thru a roller-coaster ride as far as GC is concerned. I believe members of IV are leaving no stone unturned to tide over the GC hurdles by speaking in one voice and acting in unison.
Literally, we must have the 'staying power' to do this. If people wanna go back to their home country, it's their personal decision. Impatience and frustration should not be the driving factor for people to return to their home country.

If someone enter USA they can bring in 10K$ with them in any form, ask you parents to go to any center in india private broker or anyone and buy $$ (thye charge some amount and that is in paise if they buy $ from you at 39 then they will sell it at 39.50 or so)
You can buy as much as you want 100K$ or more. then when someone from india is coming then they can hand it to him and he can give it to you here.
Well in that case you "may" get caught by IRS (if they audit ). But in case of wire transfer you can prove that the money came from India in which there would not be any tax liability.

Why is llc less risk? i know that the legal paper trail requirements are lower... but i dont know of any other major benefit than ability to share profit and loss disproportionate to ownership stake... which could be a double edged sword too... what risk is covered in llc that is not covered in corp?
in fact i chose corp because it was cheaper.... thats it.
I started an LLC earlier this year. Much easier and less risk with an LLC. It is still early to say whether the company will make it to higher grounds or not. But I sure am trying. I have me and my wife as manager members. No employees at the moment.

gcbikari, the link that you have provided is great, I just looked up a company and saw that the company owner got arrested last week, whom I would have joined. Man, he was doing a sugar coated talk when I was looking for job, and through out his speech he was talking only in millions, like we bought this company ABC last month for 20 million, and in walks in the owner of ABC Company with ragged clothes, really! man who has 20 million.

It DOES matter what your PD is. USCIS apparently does process FIFO according to your Receipt date - BUT ONLY IF YOUR PRIORITY DATE IS CURRENT will you get a visa number assigned (i.e. approval of said greencard).
From my understanding, this is correct but if you look at , http://www..com/usa-immigration-trackers/i485-tracker1/ USCIS is approving applications everyday. I am confused because according to the August visa bulletin, all categories are "unavailable" therefore, we shouldn't be seeing any approvals. Please enlighten me on this.

And in the same breath you say that "In a poll 56% of Republicans earning more than $75,000 annually would "strongly" or "partially" agree with candidate who would bar illegal immigrants from path to citizenship." Do you know the difference between highly skilled legal immigrants and illegal immigrants?. Why do you have to imply that all highly skilled are illegal, infact 99.99% of highly skilled workers (Tech workers) came to the USA legally and continue to live legally. They are here at the behest of their employers.
So please correct your article to reflect that.

I did refered earlier in this forum ,about www.givemeinsurance.com , a desi agent deals with Farmers Insurance in Texas only.
I got mine and my wife insurance with him for $15 a month covering 250K Term Life insurance ( We are on H1 )
Check for any Farmers agents in your area.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I personally have used AP three times within one year. Two trips to India were of 6 weeks and 4 weeks duration and one to Canada for 4 days. I have never faced any problem, having used three different entry points. During my latest entry just a couple of weeks back I wasn't even asked any question at all. In fact my GC was approved while I was out of the country. Just your bad luck to run into this officer, I guess.
