Thanks Ram. What is strange that my attorney on record did not even get the letter of denial. I have scheduled infopass for Jan 5th. I have H1B until June 2009 and EAD unitil Sep 2009. My wife and I have been working on EAD and traveled on AP.
Question to you and other members: Can I work until Sept 2009? I don't think my letter says that EAD was revoked (that is me speculating until I get the letter)

- If you have not shifted to EAD,You can continue working on H1

Like others have pointed out, it looks like that the numbers are being allocated in a different way from before. Does any one know of any article or discussion by a real attorney or some expert on what is going on?

I have 2004 W2 but cant seem to find my tax return. I have 2003, 2005, 2006tax returns but not 2004. What can I do to get that return. Please any advice will be nice.

Today, I got a phone call from an IO at 7:45 am waking me up from my sleep. She said she was following-up on my request to the Senator to get a case update. She told me that my case is in transit to an officer from the holding facility.
This is the same status I got from my Infopass almost 10 days ago. How long does the case go from in-transit to assigned to an officer?
Is this common to get phone calls like this? She did give me her phone number and asked me to follow-up if I don't hear back in two weeks. Anyone experienced a similar situation?

I received the card production ordered email today morning, after 1 hr again I received a Decision email. Online status shows as "Decision" , does this mean my 485 is approved?

Right now checked my bank account and all 6 checks (for me and wife) cashed. All receipt numbers are at the back of the check. AsI was expecting the package was transferred to Texas.

I am not talking about calling cards. ALLVOI is also a VOIP service like Vonage and has the same deal on free US calls etc. However, their India pkg is much better IMO.
Hows ALLVOI quality compared to Vonage for India calls?

I said this before (and it was deleted, and now I cannot even post a new thread.. I am all green on post, lol). Everyone has his/her own interest, to make the IV work, we have to work together, donation or not, effort or not... all the time, writings ppl put here are contributions....

We rode the same wave even last year with many of the same Guru;s predicting the same movement to 2007 and what we saw 2 weeks movement . There was one person called QSHEMK who after that went completely out of the picture or has rejoined with a new name .
Also I have analyzed that people who have a date in 2008 somehow predict that the dates might move to 2008 and people who have a PD of July predict that dates will move to August . This is just an observation and nothing more , and if you go through the threads thats exactly what you will see.
I will be equally benefited as you all will if the predictions come true , but be well prepared for a major heartbreak also like last year .
While it takes a lot of effort from some of the members to crunch such numbers I would be first to extend my sincere gratitude to them for doing this , I would also recommend you all to take the analysis and predictions with a grain of salt and not to raise your hopes too much on these predictions.
It has seldom worked for the last 6 years at least . Hope it does this time . I speak from experience in IV since 2006.

A general 'dissatisfaction' with the rule ( for e.g. my wait times will increase if porting continues) doesnot translate into significant damages ( such as I'm losing the job). The merit of the case was never discussed!.
It would be interesting to see how many of the 'Yes' are going to remain 'Yes' when it comes to having their names on a lawsuit filed against USCIS (the whole list will be going to USCIS). It will be interesting to see how many of you stridently remaining anonymous on a (relatively) harmless public forum such as IV are going to come out in public to fight the USCIS. Good luck guys.

All I 94 - does this mean all the I 94's you ever had or the I 94 that currently is in your possession.
I do not have copies of all the I 94's that were issued to me since my stay in US .. any body any thoughts?
Be ready with the following supporting documents. My attorney asked the following:
1. Personal Details -
(Travel Plans in the next 3 months, Moving Plans in the next 6 months, Contact Information, Passport and I-94 info, Employment Hisotry - Last 5 years+ Last job ouside US, Residence History - Last 5 years + last residence outside US, LC, I-140, EAD and details, and a few other questions, etc)
2. Passport copies- all pages, current, all old.
3. All I-20, I-94, I-797, LC, I-140 copies
4. Birth Certificates or Birth Affidavits
5. Marriage Certificate or Marriage Affidavits -
6. Sealed Medical Exam Cover - I-693
7. 6 photos for adults ( 4 if under 14)

I doubt that. Medical was relaxed since it can take time for people to get the medicals done. Also immigration doctors were all busy at this time. So it is possible that people arent able to get the meds done by the Aug 17 deadline. The other documents like EVL shouldnt take this long. If the employer is willing to provide future employment to someone then it should be sent along with the application. Whether USCIS will relax for lack of Initial Evidence other than Medical is hard to say. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
I was joking. Considering how AILA is touting its role in the negotiations that reversed the July VB fiasco... they should be on top of this issue now, as it was lawyers, not laypersons like us, who decided to submit without proper documents e.g. EVL

I concur... I'm not flying BA ever again, my family members have had bad experiences with these folks. My $ is now reserved for more deserving airlines, even if the tickets are a couple of hundred bucks more expensive elsewhere.
