Deepika Padukone to appear before a Jodhpur court today










Two witnesses were deposed before the Jodhpur court with regard to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone case under section 202 of CRPC on Tuesday. The argument in this case will be held in the court of Jodhpur Metropolitan Magistrate Aarif Mohammed on Wednesday.

The witnesses Satyanarain Limba and Pandit Rajender Sharmili claims that the title song of the film is playing with their religious sentiments.

A complaint was filed against film actress Deepika Padukone in Jodhpur local court by a complainant alleging that the dance performed by the Bollywood actress in film song Dum Maro Dum has hurt people’s sentiments.

A case was registered against producer Ramesh Sippy, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, lyricist and other actors for hampering religious sentiments of people under sections 200 and 202 in Jodhpur court. They have been accused of using indecent language in the song.
